Occasionally, situations arise when employees overlap in a position. This could be a result of cross-training of the new employee prior to the current employee leaving the position. Prior to the establishment of workflows (i.e. Concur, Leaves, etc.) this did not present any problems.
Going forward, the need to ensure the established workflows continue to work properly is essesntial. If your deparment has a situation involving two employees holding the same position ID for a period of time, please contact the compensation specialist assigned to your area. A process has been established to help ensure the workflow is not impeded.
