Payroll Services has scheduled the reappointment process for academic year graduate staff and limited term lecturer appointment changes effective August 15. (Please note: AY Fall semester actually begins on August 18, 2014, but August 15, 2014, must be used to pay one-half month’s salary).
AY Grad and LTL Reappointment
The reappointment application for academic year graduate staff and limited term lecturer appointment changes effective August 15 is scheduled for:
· System Open Date: 8:00 a.m., Thursday, July 24
· System Close Date: 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 4
· Reappointment Spreadsheets with Approved LTL Contracts due to Payroll Services: 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 6. (Reference page 4 of the Reappointment Process Guidelines for recommended spreadsheet set-up.)
Use the AY reappointment list to make changes to 9 mo. academic year graduate staff and limited term lecturer appointments effective August 15, 2014, ONLY. NOTE: A Personnel Action (PA) Form is required for appointment changes effective before or after 8/15/14. Please do NOT change the Contract Begin Date – 8/15/14 is the only valid date.
For separations on the academic year reappointment lists, the date will be 8/15/14. The last possible date to work in the summer is 8/15/14; however, that date (8/15/14) must be used as the action effective date for increases in order to pay the half-month’s salary for August.

Verify that the appropriate staff has access to org unit(s) for your area. To request new user access to the reappointment system, please send email to Linda Tripp. Please include user name (first and last), alias, and org unit number(s).
